Born and raised in South Korea. Immigrated to Australia in 1998. She began her interest in paintings and took up art to overcome her new immigration life. She initially started out with Tole painting, but she has been fascinated by botanical art since 5 years ago and now it has become her primary passion. She has found botanical art and its complexities challenging, however continues to enrich her practice and has developed a real passion for expressing nature through watercolour. She enjoy painting with watercolour, but recently she has been experimenting with the pencil and pen drawings.
She has been a member of BASA(Botanical Artist Society of Australia) since 2017 and has entered several exhibitions with the Society. She is currently studying her DLDC (Distance Learning Diploma Course) with the SBA(Society of Botanical Artists)
