I have been interested in plants drawing and watercolour painting from a very early age. Both my Mother and Grandmother were keen gardeners and artists.
I was very fortunate to be introduced to this art form by Susannah Blaxill some 20 years ago.Her passion for her art is contagious, and I am still learning and exploring the beauties of the natural world and finding great joy in trying to represent it in my art.
I now live with my husband in Canberra, after almost 50 years establishing both a family and a garden in the beautiful Armidale New England area of northern NSW.
We have three wonderful children and their partners and are blessed with 6 grandchildren.
I have held several solo exhibitions the most notable and exciting being asked to exhibit by the Commune of Soriano nel Cimino in the centuries old Palazzo Chigi Albani in 2017
